Luisa, at Your Service! is a story both dedicated to and inspired by my mother’s childhood in the tiny, colorful town of Salento, Colombia.

It's told through the lens of a high-spirited young girl named Luisa, who, alongside her pet chicken Pablo, offers free tours to backpackers who come to Salento to hike the famous Cocora Valley, which makes up the stunning backdrop to her hometown. The story is wink to the classic Eloise at the Plaza--just from a different corner of the world--as Luisa takes folks around her own “plaza,” on a tour that is both meandering and intentional, with hilarious, insider commentary that could only come out of an unfiltered six-year-old’s mouth.
